Bob Marley Tribute Collection

This project was designed in my Conceptual Image class, specifically for my Recording Artist System Project. This assignment aimed to experiment and create a visually rich image system that reflects the music, the artist, and the period. We then applied that imagery across media, designing tiny and large-scale designs.

I made a tribute album celebrating the legacy of famous Jamaican singer and guitarist Bob Marley. For the album cover design, which I've titled "The Legacy of Bob Marley," I designed a saturated beach landscape with a beautiful seashell as the focus. The text is colored on a repeating yellow, red, green, and black pattern, an iconic color palette of Jamaica. The back cover features the Bob Marley Museum with a saturated green sky. The image is bordered by psychedelic green, red, yellow, and black tie-dye patterns. Plus, there's a list of songs featured on the album.

Additionally, I made tickets for a potential "Legacy of Bob Marley" live concert. One has the same tie-dye pattern as the back cover, and another has a simple yellow background.

The album art was also printed onto a vinyl record sleeve, and the record also got a unique design.
