Divided Page: Flowers of the Dead

I divided the paper by drawing 2 lines from the top of the page to the bottom and then a second set of horizontal lines from side to side. The lines do not intersect. Then, I had to pick two different topics to draw in the 9 spaces I had created. (4 patterned objects from one topic and 5 from the other.) I wanted to pick two elements that were holy opposite one another and what's more opposite than life and death. I drew parts of a skeleton, specifically the skull, hands, feet, and ribs. Then, I drew a field of red flowers in the remaining spaces. The skeleton is meant to be resting in a field of these flowers, with a few bits poking through.
